Hi,

Has anyone ever bought from mapandcompassoutdoors.com and if so what did they think of the service. I'm looking at buying some stuff off them, but checked out their address on google map and it seems to be a courier shop in London near a bicycle shop called cyclopediauk. It may be an out of date map but I'm just looking for some info on whether these are a bona fide outfit. Thanks.

Wel seamie,
I know there was a map and compass outdoor shop in Waterford city but it closed down within a year of opening. The main man in the shop said that he had another 2 or 3 shops in ireland, one in wexford and one in wicklow mayb but im not sure  Huh?. Ur man seemed sound and he new his business. im not sure if its related to the website you are looking at but if it is it they seem genuine enough. i May not have shed any light on your question but It might help. Later.

Theres a map and Compass in wexford alright. Not much in the way of a climbing shop. Lot of rain jackets and camping gear.

Thanks lads. I think the site is related to the Wexford shop but they have shops in England too.
