Some of you may know that I run a couple of websites climbing.ie and technicaldiving.ie (covers deep wreck and cave diving).

Its a pretty onerous task when you consider my other duties in Mountaineering Ireland.

This weekend work will begin to merge the two sites into TechnicalDivingAndClimbing.ie and cover the spectrum of climbing and diving activities.

Unfortunately the number of boards and categories will have to be reduced. I'm mostly thinking from the climbing side at the moment to approx half their current number. The prime candidates for removal are the Ads boards, Training & Instructors, Winter Climbing Alpinism & Greater Ranges, Climbing Meets and Competitions.

Don't worry there are some pretty exciting diving related boards that will take their place.

Let me know what you reckon. I'll probably start the work on Sat.

Cheers, Stephen
