Here's the current league table with 3 rounds. It should give ye some motivation for Midleton & Tollymore  Grin

Overall League Results Table

The league results are calculated by giving 300pts to 1st place, 299 to 2nd place, 298 to 3rd place and so on.

Your best 3 results will count for the overall league standings.

There are €1000 worth of prizes just for the league in addition to the round prizes.

C'mon guys... having a Canadian currently at the top of the IBL standing!  I am sure someone will take up the Irish flag and remove that maple sirup lover from there (?Harry?)

Seriously guys, team French Canadian (me, Annie and Elizabeth) are missing the IBL, great comp with very fun people.  Have fun and cheers to all involved.

League results after 4 rounds are now available. Congrats to Hannah for max points in the womens league and likewise Jordan for max in the juniors.

The mens is still open and there are some intriguing possibilities - H.Fogg & E.Kennedy are both capable of taking the league title.

A little bit further down K.Marnane is one point ahead of S.Marnane. I bet there's a big 750g cornflake box between the two of them at breakfast back at the parents house!  Grin

Etc etc.

Hi Stephen,
just noticed that my (Diarmuid Bourke) round 3 result isn't listed from Galway?

My mistake. I'll fix that up later.

Anyone else notice problems with their scores. It's been eerily quiet. I can't have done the sums that well.  Roll Eyes

Thats fixed now. You get 3 extra league points but it doesn't affect the overall ranking.

The final league standing for 2009/2010 are available here: Overall League Results Table

I'd just like to say very well done to the winners 1,2,3 of each category.

Again I'd like to apologise for a couple of mistakes - Niamh Hebbletwaite's 2nd place in Junior Girls league was overlooked and due to the fact that we didn't enter Jane Gallweys score - Jane actually came 2nd in the Female league and Patricia Fox came 3rd. Sorry about that and again thanks for your patience and understanding.

Also well done to all the climbers who attended all five rounds of the competition. You deserve a prize for that in itself. Had I been a bit more efficient I would have organised a T-shirt for all those who completed all rounds or something like that. [Nicole - take note for next year].

There were a load of surplus prizes left over after Tollymore but I kinda hate the raffle / throw them in the air method of disposing of them. We donated them to the MI Youth Climbing Series competitions instead but yeah you guys who have done all 5 comps deserved a prize for your loyalty. All I can offer is my sincere thanks.

So that's it guys, my tenure as IBL supremo is over......best of luck Nicole!
