I must admit I read very few blogs. However I do keep tabs on Dave McLeods (http://www.davemacleod.blogspot.com/) and Pierre Fuentes' (http://pierreboulderingblog.blogspot.com). Of course Pierre has a long association with Irish bouldering. Dave has not but he's a bit of a legend and a good reminder of what can be done in a damp climate with a rack of trad gear and on the sports routes, boulders, icy cliffs etc.

So what am I missing? Are there any other decent ones out there? Now don't be posting about Dave Graham etc. - lots of respect but NOT interested in the latest Petzl-tour or what the uber-elite are doing in the locations where the sun never fails to shine. Much more interested in what home grown climbers are doing in their back yard - as long as its well written, got nice snaps and not too much navel gazing  Grin

So c'mon post it up and we'll take a look. We'll be gentle  Wink

Of course I'm embarrassed to say I forgot about Neal McQuaid (http://nmcquaid.blogspot.com/) and Paul Brennan (http://climbingrelatedrambling.blogspot.com/) and Dave Ayton (http://daveaytonsblog.blogspot.com/)

Of course I read them - ahem!  Roll Eyes

Sonnie Trotter is a good one to read...His posts are usually interesting, a bit off the wall and the very odd time actually climbing related....worth a look: http://sonnietrotter.com/roadlife/

Jack Geldard, always makes for a bit of amusement. My favorite quote (in relation to his recent E7/8 onsight) has to be "conditions were perfect...there was nothing good on TV": http://jackgeldard.com/

I usually keep up with our very own Belgium Sean with the blog over at xpedition.be. Some very amusing stuff there: http://www.xpedition.be/

I'm afraid mine is more of the navel-gazing variety, but here are some good ones:

Ricky Bell
Ian Parnell

Theres a couple more Irish ones, but I don't know if they'd like to be mentioned so I'll leave it up to them. Basically, the internet+boredom=blogging  (if you're not sponsored that is Grin)

My newly established blog (inspred by mr brennan) can be found at http://roddersm29.blogspot.com. Be aware its early days. Hopefully this blog will be something different. Rather than being about being a punter doing hard things, its about being a shite climber living in derry and dreaming about being a punter who does hard things. Hopefuly everyone who visits my blog will go away feeling really psyched, if nothing else they'll come away thinking thank f**k I'm not that looser. Feel free to visit my blog, just make sure you buy something from amazon while your there Smiley Peace out rodders.
